BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A member of the gold medal-winning USA Gymnastics team in Paris is joining the Tigers.
Hezly Rivera announced on social media Thursday, Sept. 26, that she has committed to LSU.
“I am so blessed and excited to announce that I have verbally committed to Louisiana State University,” she wrote, adding that she would receive a full athletic scholarship.
Rivera was in Baton Rouge this past weekend on her official visit. She also reportedly went on recruiting visits to Florida and Oklahoma in recent weeks.
