Former Nebraska guard Keisei Tominaga signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, the team announced. ESPN first reported news of the agreement on July 5.
Tominaga went undrafted after averaging 15.1 points and 2.3 rebounds on 37.6% shooting from 3-point range last season as a fifth-year senior. He was named to the All-Big Ten second team last season after producing eight 20-point games, including a season-high 31 points on Feb. 4.
The 23-year-old played two years at Ranger College before joining the Huskers for the 2021-22 season. He was an NJCAA All-American in 2021 and a two-time first-team All-NTJCAC selection.
Tominaga skipped the NBA Summer League to represent Japan in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. He totaled two points and one steal in eight minutes of action across three appearances as Japan finished 11th after dropping its three pool games.
The 6-foot-2 guard most recently played with the G League United this month in the 2024 Fall Invitational and FIBA Intercontinental Cup. He averaged five points, 1.2 rebounds and one steal in five appearances in the two competitions with the United.
Tominaga will participate with the Pacers in training camp and spend next season in the G League with the Indiana Mad Ants as part of his Exhibit 10 contract. He can receive a bonus of up to $75,000 if he is waived and stays with the Mad Ants for at least 60 days.
