As Hurricane Helene barrels toward the Sunshine State, several livestream cameras along Florida beaches are set to capture the major storm’s impacts along the Gulf Coast.
As of Wednesday evening, Hurricane Helene’s cone of uncertainty places the Category 1 storm on a path toward Florida’s Big Bend region, according to the National Hurricane Center forecast. By Thursday morning, Helene is expected to become a Category 3 hurricane.
Local viewpoints of the storm as it passes Manatee County include Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, Longboat Key and Siesta Key.
Keep in mind that these cameras could go offline in the event of a power or internet outage.
