Michigan State football left Boston with quite a bit of disappointment on Saturday after losing to the Eagles by four points on the road. MSU looked to be in control of the game, but just couldn’t stop making costly mistakes that ultimately cost them the game. It was frustrating to watch, and probably even more frustrating to play in, because the Spartans looked like they should have pulled away multiple times but just couldn’t get out of their own way.
Instead of pulling off a road upset, the Spartans will now have to prepare for about as hard of a two-game stretch as you can get in college football, facing Ohio State and Oregon back-to-back.
