The Missouri Tigers and Kansas State Wildcats fell in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 rankings.
In the new AP college football poll released Sunday — the fifth poll of the 2024 season — Mizzou (4-0) went from No. 7 to No. 11 after narrowly defeating Vanderbilt 30-27.
Kansas State (3-1) dropped from No. 13 to No. 23 in the latest rankings after losing 38-9 to BYU.
The Jayhawks (1-3) lost 32-28 to WVU on Saturday. Kansas fell out of the AP Poll two weeks ago and hasn’t returned.
K-State hosts No. 20 Oklahoma State on Saturday at 11 a.m. Missouri is off this week but will travel to College Station to play Texas A&M next Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m.
