Texas Longhorns 2024 football schedule
Texas football will face College Football Playoff contenders such as Michigan, Georgia and Oklahoma.
Texas football wideout DeAndre Moore Jr. left the Longhorns’ game against Louisiana-Monroe in the first half with an injury, heading to the locker room for evaluation.
Though he returned to the sideline in full uniform, he didn’t play a snap after his departure.
Moore, the Longhorns’ starting slot receiver, came into Saturday with three receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown on the season. He also caught one pass for six yards in the 51-3 victory over the Warhawks.

“He got a hip pointer,” Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said. “So hopefully he can be back soon.”
Texas (4-0) certainly didn’t need Moore’s contributions to beat the Warhawks (2-1).
The Longhorns took a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter and coasted thereafter.
Isaiah Bond finished the game as Texas’ leading receiver, catching two passes for 75 yards. Eleven different receivers caught a pass.
