Tennessee football went into Norman and had no issues with No. 13 Oklahoma on Saturday night.
The No. 7-ranked Vols defeated the Sooners 25-15 on Saturday in a game that felt much more in Tennessee’s favor than the score indicated, thanks to two late touchdowns in the fourth quarter led by Oklahoma backup quarterback Michael Hawkins Jr., who played the entire second half in relief of starter Jackson Arnold.

Tennessee’s offense did enough to win against Oklahoma’s stout defense, despite quarterback Nico Iamaleava coughing up two turnovers in the first half. Iamaleava finished the game completing 13 of 21 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown, with the Vols rushing for 151 yards and a score on 52 carries as a team.
