The Spartans have opened as a massive underdog in their home matchup against top-five Ohio State next week.

Michigan State hasn’t beaten Ohio State since 2015 when the Spartans last won the Big Ten and reached the College Football Playoff. The Spartans have lost by an average margin of 35 points in their last five matchups with the Buckeyes.
Michigan State comes into this matchup off a disappointing loss at Boston College on Saturday. The Spartans 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Big Ten play on the year.
Ohio State rolled past Marshall this past week to improve to 3-0 on the year. This will mark the Buckeyes’ first Big Ten and road game of the year.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be available to stream on Peacock.
