PHOENIX (AZFamily) — As a dip in the jet stream travels through our area today, Phoenix’s high will be below normal at 92. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the mountains today, especially in northeast Arizona.
On Sunday, the first day of fall, temperatures will actually be warming up. Highs in the Valley will be in the upper 90s to around 100. A few isolated storms are possible in the mountains, but most of the high country should be rain-free.
Temperatures will increase to above normal next week, with highs in the Valley ranging from 103 to 106.
