Pat Bryant will lead the Illinois Fighting Illini (3-0) into their battle against the Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-0) at Memorial Stadium (Lincoln, NE) on Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The Cornhuskers knocked off the Northern Iowa Panthers 34-3 in their most recent outing. Last time out, the Fighting Illini won 30-9 over the Central Michigan Chippewas. Dylan Raiola had 247 yards on 17-of-23 passing (73.9%) for the Huskers in that matchup against the Panthers, with two touchdowns and one interception. Dante Dowdell ran for 55 yards on six carries (9.2 yards per carry). Jaylen Lloyd totaled one reception for 59 yards (averaging 59.0 per catch) against the Panthers. Luke Altmyer totaled 242 passing yards while going 19-for-29 with two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Illini against the Chippewas. Josh McCray put together an eight-carry, 54-yard game (6.8 yards per attempt). Bryant caught seven passes on nine targets for 102 yards (14.6 yards per reception), and scored two touchdowns.
