A former president could be making his way to Tuscaloosa for Alabama football’s next home game.
According to a report by Mark Halperin, an author and journalist who currently works for Newsmax, Donald Trump is planning on attending Alabama vs. Georgia Sept. 28 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The Alabama football program and University of Alabama police have not responded to a request for comment. A city of Tuscaloosa spokesman said Trump’s visit is “unconfirmed.”
The Alabama football team has been a frequent visitor of the White House, having visited during the Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Trump administrations.

John F. Kennedy: Jan. 1, 1963Alabama football vs Oklahoma
John F. Kennedy was the first president to attend an Alabama football game when he watched the Crimson Tide beat Oklahoma 17-0 at the 1963 Orange Bowl in Miami. The Crimson Tide’s win against Oklahoma was its 10th of the season.
Donald Trump: Jan. 8, 2018Alabama vs Georgia
Trump was present for Alabama’s 17th national championship where the Crimson Tide beat Georgia 26-23 in overtime at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to end a 13-1 season.
Donald Trump: Nov. 9, 2019Alabama vs. LSU
Trump made a trip to Tuscaloosa for the Crimson Tide’s 46-41 loss to LSU. Trump’s 2019 visit was the first time a sitting president has attended a University of Alabama home football game. The Tigers handed the Crimson Tide its first of two losses, finishing the season 11-2 and with a Citrus Bowl win against Michigan.
