Texas Roadhouse super fans are living their retirement dreams
Mike and Judy McNamara are trying to visit every Texas Roadhouse in America.
You no longer have to go to Texas Roadhouse to get its iconic dinner rolls and honey cinnamon butter because they are coming to Walmart stores in Iowa.
When the products first rolled out this spring, they were only available in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky, but now they’re rolling out nationwide.
Select Walmarts offers a 7.35-ounce tub of the whipped buttery spread and a package of a dozen mini rolls complete with a honey cinnamon glaze. A Texas Roadhouse original spread is also available in a 7.35-ounce tub.
Where can you find Texas Roadhouse’s frozen rolls and honey cinnamon butter?
The Texas Roadhouse mini-rolls are available at most Walmart locations including Des Moines, Altoona and Ankeny, according to the retailer’s website.
The honey cinnamon butter is a little harder to come by in Iowa. As of Thursday afternoon, only Walmart stores in Boone and Cedar Rapids listed it as in stock.
Both the mini rolls and butter spreads are working their way through the Walmart system. They will eventually be available nationwide, an official from Texas Roadhouse told the Register on Thursday. According to Walmart’s website, the costs of Texas Roadhouse brand items at central Iowa locations are:
Honey Cinnamon Whipped Buttery Spread (7.35 oz): $3.48Original Whipped Buttery Spread (7.35 oz): $3.48Mini Rolls with Honey Cinnamon Glaze (12-count): $5.26
