CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — A suspect wanted for the murder of Dayana Garcia has been found and arrested in south Texas.
The Zavala County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that they were urged to be on the lookout for Dayren Lopez Roque’s vehicle, as he was wanted in Tennessee for a homicide.
Roque’s vehicle was located by one of their deputies traveling west bound on US Highway 57.
The vehicle then turned right onto US Highway 83, going into a Family Dollar parking lot.
Zavala County deputies initiated a felony traffic stop and was arrested.
Cleveland Police are currently working with Texas Rangers and other area law enforcement to extradite him back to Tennessee.
Roque faces charges of First Degree murder after authorities discovered Dayana Garcia to be deceased at 315 Northcrest Circle.
Garcia was originally reported a missing person.
