(CNN) – Beacon, USA Gymnastics’ therapy dog, returned home after spending four nights in the hospital.
Beacon’s owner said the 4-year-old golden retriever is improving following his stay for stiffness, labored breathing and fever.
Beacon is now restricted to minimal walks.
No diagnosis has been found but he is trending in a good direction.
Beacon provided support to athletes during the Olympic trials.
He is the team’s first therapy dog and holds the title “Goodest Boy.”
A GoFundMe was created to help with Beacon’s recovery.
