LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. – Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff touched down at Lehigh Valley International Airport on Saturday.
He visited the Allentown Democratic headquarters on Hamilton Street, thanking people for volunteering.
“We know that the path to victory comes through Pennsylvania and the way that we’re going to win Pennsylvania, it’s going to come right through here in Allentown,” said Emhoff.
Emhoff took the stage at Dieruff High School for an event targeting Latino voters.
The Second Gentleman spoke about Vice President Kamala Harris’ past, including her time as a prosecutor, District Attorney, Attorney General and Senator.
“Us the people is who she’s always cared about,” said Emhoff.
Emhoff also spoke about Vice President Harris’ upbringing.
“And Kamala understands how important it is to get a fair chance– to get a fair chance to live this American Dream, to get a fair chance to prove yourself,” said Emhoff.
The Second Gentleman touched on lowering the cost of prescription drug prices, community safety and the economy.
“This is all about creating an opportunity economy where all of us can succeed. It’s also about lowering costs, which she’s talked about and growing the middle class,” said Emhoff.
