MESA, AZ (AZFamily) —Drivers in the East Valley can expect heavy delays after a construction vehicle overturned on the freeway early Saturday morning.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said it happened around 8:30 a.m. on the U.S. 60 near Val Vista Road.
The construction vehicle was carrying tar and overturned. DPS says lanes four and five are blocked. Injuries were reported. However, DPS says they are non-life-threatening.
The U.S. 60 was temporarily shut down as the tanker was being towed.
