PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Cardinals are bringing a new experience to State Farm Stadium this fall for fans!
The team announced on Thursday that they are launching the “Cardinals Flag Football Experience,” the first-ever flag football campus at an NFL stadium. The experience is part of the team’s ongoing efforts to grow the game of flag football and give fans the opportunity to play right where the pros compete. Flag football has seen a rising popularity in Arizona, especially among young girls and boys.
From girls and boys youth teams or tournaments to corporate outings, everyone is welcome to join the fun at State Farm Stadium.
The fields will be on the stadium’s southwest side near 95th Avenue and the South Loop Road. Games will be played on a Bermuda grass surface like the one inside State Farm Stadium. Each of the fields have shaded benches for the teams and grandstands for the fans to enjoy all the action.
On game days, fans can reserve the fields for one-hour timeslots three hours before Cardinals kickoff. Participants will receive access to discounted group Cardinals tickets, parking passes and of course everything needed for a game, such as flags, footballs, referees, game clocks and water.

All participants will also receive a special commemorative gift from the team. Interested fans can sign their teams up or learn more by going to Arizona Cardinals Group Ticket Request Form.

Recently, Arizona State University’s women’s flag football club team hosted its first youth camp, which sold out! Over 100 middle and high school athletes came out to the first camp, giving middle and high school girls opportunities to run drills and learn new skills from college coaches.
