Iowa is home to many of the greats. But did you know Kelly Osbourne lives here too?
In a recent Instagram story, the singer, TV personality and daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne revealed that many people don’t realize her and her boyfriend, Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, have a home right here in Iowa.
Osbourne said she was with Wilson when he burned his face and arms in a bonfire accident on his home farm last week. Since then, Iowans have started asking Osbourne questions via her social media. One user asked how she liked being in Iowa.
“A lot of people don’t know this about Sid and I but we do actually live in Iowa. And I love being in Iowa. I love Iowans,” Osbourne said.
The singer also said she and Wilson enjoy being by “real people” and near the countryside.
The question came as she and Wilson were on their way to the University of Iowa Burn Treatment Center to check on his recovery. He has said he will perform at Slipknot’s next show, “Rocklahoma,” in Pryor, Oklahoma, on Sept. 1.

It’s unclear where exactly in Iowa the couple and their son live. But Winn’s Pizza and Steakhouse posted a photo with Obsourne on Wednesday after she picked up Wilson’s “favorite marinated fillet steak.”
And an employee of the Indianola steakhouse told the Register that Wilson is a regular customer at the restaurant.
Osbourne also posted a video on her stories of two friends visiting Iowa and eating A&W root beer floats. While there’s dozens of locations in the state, there is one in Indianola.
Wilson, who performs as DJ Starscream in heavy metal band Slipknot, grew up in Des Moines.
