JD Vance in Arizona: VP nominee attacks Harris on border record
Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance attacked Kamala Harris’ border record during a rally at Arizona Christian University in Glendale.
Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance will return to Arizona on Sept. 4 to campaign in the Phoenix area, according to a Wednesday announcement from Turning Point Action.
The event is set to be held at Generation Church near Ellsworth Road and Southern Avenue in Mesa. Vance will be accompanied by Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point.
Registration for the event is required online and tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Entry instructions will be sent to attendees the day before the event, according to Turning Point.
Doors for the Sept. 4 event are scheduled to open at 3 p.m., before the speaker remarks at 5 p.m. Parking is limited, and attendees are encouraged to leave their belongings at home. No bags or beverages will be permitted.
Vance, a U.S. senator from Ohio, has already made a handful of trips to Arizona since being named Trump’s running mate, including in late July in Glendale, and on Aug. 1 at the southern border.
