The Tennessee Titans have set their initial 53-man roster and one of the bigger surprises from it was the fact that they only carried four cornerbacks.
The team announced it is keeping L’Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie, Roger McCreary and Jarvis Brownlee. We figured Tennessee would keep at least one of Caleb Farley, Tre Avery, Gabe Jeudy-Lally or Eric Garror, but that turned out not to be the case.
One way or the other, the Titans are going to add to that group before the start of the season, and one potential option appears to be veteran cornerback James Bradberry.
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Titans spoke to the Philadelphia Eagles about a trade for Bradberry. It isn’t clear what the Eagles are looking for, though, but he shouldn’t cost much.
Hearing that James Bradberry is likely to survive today’s cuts.#Eagles spoke to some teams about a possible trade, including the Titans, who have former #Eagles DBs coach and Bradberry fan Dennard Wilson, NFL sources said.

Bradberry has a connection to the Titans, as he played under defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson when he was the defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator of the Eagles in 2022.
Bradberry was once one of the better cornerbacks in the NFL, but he has seen a decline in recent years. Even still, he would be a fantastic depth addition for the Titans, assuming the price is right.
The veteran also offers a bit of versatility, as the Eagles moved him to safety this year, although that doesn’t appear to be going well, per McLane.
Whatever the case may be, don’t be surprised if Bradberry is in the two-tone blue in due time.
