Still looking to head to the Mizzou season-opener?
Missouri football opens its 2024 season against Murray State on Thursday evening on Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri. The Tigers were ranked No. 11 in both the preseason US LMB Coaches Poll and AP Top 25.
With third-year starting quarterback Brady Cook and star wide receiver Luther Burden III entering their respective final seasons of college football, Mizzou is among the teams tipped as a candidate to earn a berth into the first 12-team College Football Playoff.
Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz, speaking to media during fall camp, urged MU fans not to wait for marquee opponents later in the season, but rather to be excited about his MU team as soon as the season-opener and to sell out the game.
The Tigers opened as a 46.5-point favorite for the game.

Tickets for Missouri’s opening game of the 2024 season start at $14 on Stubhub. Tickets on Vivid Seats for the Murray State game start at $16.
Mizzou athletics also is offering a promotional deal of four tickets and unlimited fountain drinks, hot dogs and popcorn for $99, which works out to a little less than $25 per ticket.
