Ken Rosewall is the oldest winner of the men’s singles (in 1970 at 35 years, 10 months and 11 days), while Molla Bjurstedt Mallory is the oldest winner of the women’s singles (in 1926 at 42 years and 5 months). At 5 hours and 26 minutes, the 1992 match between Stefan Edberg and Michael Chang is the longest ever played in US Open history.

Jimmy Connors is the player who has played the most matches among the men (115), while Chris Evert is the player who has played the most matches among the women (113).
