Texas at the 2024 LLWS: Meet the Boerne Little League team
Meet Team Texas from Boerne. Discover its journey from a small town to the grand stage in Williamsport at the 2024 Little League World Series.
The 2024 Little League World Series has been a breeze so far for the Texas team. Now, Boerne Little League will be facing off with Paseo Verde Little League out of Henderson, Nevada.
Boerne LL handily won their opening match vs. Pennsylvania 9-0, of the Mid-Atlantic Region, and followed it up with a 4-1 over Florida, the Southeast Region champions. Meanwhile, Nevada, of the Mountain Region, defeated New York, the Metro Region champions, before scraping out a 3-2 win Monday over a talented Hawai’i team.
The winner of Wednesday’s game qualifies for the U.S. final, two wins away from the Little League World Series title. Texas has not won a LLWS title since 1966.
