Three Giants takeaways in their 10-6 preseason finale loss to the Jets on Saturday night at MetLife Stadium:
1. Dante “Turbo’’ Miller got his hands on the ball on five of the first six plays and picked up 24 yards.
Miller, an undrafted rookie, played most of his college ball at Columbia and after an impressive summer should find his way onto the practice squad.

He finished with 14 carries for 45 yards.
2. Evan Neal, coming off ankle surgery, received his first action of the preseason, starting at right tackle.
He looked solid as a run-blocker but early in the second quarter he was cleanly and decisively beaten wide off the line by Takk McKinley for an 8-yard sack of Tommy DeVito.
Neal then went out with an injury to his surgically-repaired ankle.
3. How far has DT Elijah Chatman come?
The undersized, undrafted rookie from SMU did not play in the final preseason game, which was a great sign for a hustling player who most likely worked his way onto the roster with grit and determination.
