Texas and Florida meet in the final of the United States bracket at the 2024 Little League World Series on Saturday afternoon.
The winner earns a spot in the tournament title game against either Venezuela or Chinese Taipei on Sunday.
The representatives from Boerne Little League in Boerne, Texas, have glided to 3-0 start at the Little League World Series. Pitching has been their strength, as they have allowed just three runs across the three games.
It’s the second consecutive year a team from Texas plays in the U.S. title game, after Needville Little League lost in last year’s event.
Lake Mary Little League — representing Lake Mary, Florida — is 5-1 thus far at the Little League World Series. With a 6-3 win on Thursday, Lake Mary eliminated its counterparts from Nevada to punch a ticket in Saturday’s U.S. title game.
This is the second time Boerne and Lake Mary will meet at the Little League World Series. On Aug. 19, Texas defeated Florida, 4-1.
