The Gulf Breeze football team hit the field at 12:01 a.m. to officially kick off its 2024 season, marking the start of fall high school sports.
The first week of high school football has arrived in Northwest Florida, taking Escambia and Santa Rosa counties by storm.
The Pensacola News Journal will have a live scoreboard and provide updates on local games both home and away.
Reporters will be at select games under the lights, along with our staff photographers.
