Due to the Olympics, it felt like Nevada sports took a little break these past few weeks.
But those Nevadans who medaled for Team USA — yes, including Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson — are back home.
At the same time, the Las Vegas Raiders are back in full swing, at least with one preseason game under their belt. UNLV football, fresh off its first bowl game in nearly 30 years, will start soon, and UNR football has renewed hope.
And there’s still talk that maybe the Oakland Athletics won’t move to Las Vegas after all.
