WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation is asking the public to avoid US 378 near Meeting and State Streets in West Columbia after a truck spilled a portion of its cargo in the roadway.
SCDOT officials say the spill consist of organic material.
Crews are assisting with the cleanup but drivers can expect traffic delays as cleanup efforts continue.
If you can’t avoid the area, SCDOT asks that you use caution and slow down when driving near crews.
