The Pennsylvania Capitol in Harrisburg was evacuated after a power outage Thursday morning, officials said.
Capitol police and other emergency response crews responded to the Capitol Complex after the power outage occurred at 11 a.m., according to Eric Veronikis, communications director with the Department of General Services.
The outage, which was restored by 11:20 a.m., led to a temporary evacuation. After the 30-minute evacuation, building employees were permitted to return to their offices. Public access to the Capitol has been restored, too.
