BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR/Gray News) – Two Chick-fil-A managers in North Dakota went above and beyond during flash flooding on Tuesday.
Chick-fil-A managers Sammi Young and Jarret Hartley saw people in the parking lot of their Bismarck restaurant who were stranded in stalled cars as water rushed in.

Thinking quickly, Young and Hartley helped push cars out of the water while also providing free sandwiches to the people stranded.
“I mean, Chick-fil-A is a community of care. Every community we step into, it’s an opportunity for us to care for more individuals,” Hartley said.
Young said their actions come from a mentality to serve others.
“We’re here to serve. We’re here to help people. We are striving to just make people’s day,” Young said.
Young wanted to point out that they have a wonderful team at their Chick-fil-A location and that all their workers deserve a shoutout for their efforts on Tuesday night.
