A 37-year-old Adams County man was arrested by Maryland State Police on Wednesday and charged with attempted homicide, use of a gun in commission of a felony and related offenses after police said he shot at another vehicle during a road rage incident.
Maryland State Police responded to the area of US 15 and Tippin Drive in Frederick County around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday for a road rage incident with shots fired, according to a police report.
Once police were on scene they said multiple bullet holes were visible around the passenger compartment of the victim’s vehicle. Maryland State Police did not say how many shots were fired during the incident.
The victim told police they were uninjured and investigators were able to recover a bullet from the vehicle, the report said.
The victim said the gunshots came from a maroon Chevrolet SUV with a Pennsylvania license plate. Later today, police found the vehicle unoccupied at a business in Thurmont, Maryland.

Investigators said the suspect, later identified as Bryant Paradine, of Littlestown, was inside the business. Police then executed a search warrant on the vehicle and recovered a loaded 9-millimeter handgun and a spent shell casing of the same caliber.
Paradine was arrested and taken to the Maryland State Police Frederick Barracks for processing, the police report said. He is now waiting to appear before a district court commissioner.
