MUNDY TWP., MI – The Historic US 23 Drive-in Theater was packed with hundreds of classic cars of all shapes, sizes and colors on Tuesday night.
Attendees were able to roll in with their vehicles and watch the 2008 film ‘Speed Racer’ starring Emil Hirsch, Christina Ricci and Susan Sarandon as part of Back to the Bricks’ Main Event Week.
Some classic cars included muscle cars such as a 1969 Road Runner Six-Pack, owned by Wayne Coulman.
Or Junior, a rust-free yellow Jeep Cherokee, also known as an XJ, with studded diamond valve caps owned by Terry Douglas.
Back to the Bricks merchandise was sold, balloon animals were available for younger car enthusiasts and attendees were guessing how much a giant pumpkin weighed.
The community came together to spend time with friends, family, and loved ones while also checking out classic cars and talking to their owners.
“Just seeing all of the people and talking to people and all of the cars [you] get to see,” said Anaita Fields about her favorite part of coming to Brick Flicks.
Back to the Bricks events will continue until Saturday, Aug. 17.
