The Hezbollah missile that devastated a Druze community in Israel’s Golan Heights may or may not ignite “all-out” war, but it certainly underscores the need to change the status quo — by force if necessary.
And President Biden and Veep Kamala Harris have only made the prospects for war more likely.
The Iranian-made Falaq-1, which killed 12 children and injured dozens of others, was just one of 30 projectiles the Lebanese-based terrorists fired into Israel on Saturday.
It marked the deadliest day inside the Jewish state since Oct. 7.
Hezbollah has staged 5,000 attacks on Israel since that day. Almost 100,000 residents of northern Israel have had to flee their homes.
Beyond that, Israelis know Hezbollah, whose military force dwarfs that of Hamas, can do far more damage than what they suffered on Oct. 7.

Israeli officials have repeatedly warned the current situation is not sustainable.
They demand the group retreat from Lebanon’s border to at least the Litani River, 18 miles to the north and hope diplomacy can achieve that.
But they’re prepared for war if not. Saturday’s attack might prove to be the spark.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed “Hezbollah will pay a heavy price.”
Foreign Minister Israel Katz warned Israel is “approaching the moment of an all-out war.” The terrorists “crossed all red lines.”
Sunday, Israeli warplanes struck some Hezbollah sites, but officials were contemplating broader action.
Meanwhile, Team Biden — Harris, most notably — has only thrown gasoline on the fire.

She backstabbed Bibi moments after chatting with him when she falsely blamed Israel for “too many” deaths in Gaza and insisted on a premature cease-fire; such “daylight” between Jerusalem and Washington could’ve encouraged Hezbollah.
Team Biden also demanded Israel temper its response to Saturday’s strike — another invitation for more attacks.
If Washington truly wants to end the cycle of violence in the Mideast, it needs to work with Israel to confront its sources: Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis — and Iran.
The Biden-Harris fear of escalation will only continue to enflame the region.
