COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Mayor Yemi Mobolade and YMCA campers in Colorado Springs are meeting with some of Team USA Tuesday ahead of the start of the Olympic Games in Paris.
According to a news release from the City of Colorado Springs, “This event will provide the opportunity for children from the YMCA summer camp to meet and interact with one U.S. Olympic coach and six U.S. Olympic athletes from the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program (WCAP). Among the athletes in attendance will be Fort Carson’s Staff Sergeant Leonard Korir, who will compete for Team USA in Paris 2024 in the marathon event on Aug. 10.”
The list of athletes attending is as follows:

SSG Samuel Kosgei, 2024 Olympic Team Coach, Marathon
SFC Naomi Graham, 2020 Olympic Team Member, Boxing

SPC Alejandro Sancho, 2020 Olympic Team Member, Greco-Roman Wrestling
SPC Jesse Thielke, 2016 Olympic Team Member, Greco-Roman Wrestling
SGT Ellis Coleman, 2008 Olympic Team Member, Greco-Roman Wrestling
