The Wisconsin football staff has been impressed early on with the talent coming out of a certain 2026 Minnesota offensive tackle.
Noah Dietel, a 2026 offensive tackle from Litchfield, Minnesota, has drawn plenty of interest from some Big Ten Conference programs as of late. Among the programs interested has been the Wisconsin football program, who sees a future collegiate starter in Dietel. During a recent interview with Wisconsin Sports Heroics, Dietel revealed what he is looking for in college football programs and his desire to play in the Big Ten Conference.

During the off-season, many recruits are just as busy as they would be during the season in an attempt to improve their skills and exposure. For one Minnesota offensive tackle, Noah Dietel, that has been the case as camps and workouts have been key for the recruit.
Dietel, a 2026 offensive tackle, has been in steady contact with North Dakota State University, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The offensive tackle has not secured any scholarships yet, but has received interest after impressing multiple different staff members with his recent performances. This past season on the field, Dietel proved he has both the intelligence and power to make it at the collegiate level.

For the big offensive tackle, playing at the next level offers an amazing opportunity to do something his family has dreamed of. When asked about potentially playing in the Big Ten Conference, Dietel stated “I have been taking to my parents about all the schools talking to me and we agreed that it would be pretty awesome to play for Minnesota or in the Big Ten in general.”
Dietel also added, “That has been something my family has watched for a long time,” when referring to the Big Ten Conference.
There are plenty of different factors that go into the recruitment of the offensive tackle outside of the conference he plays in. When speaking about factors leading to a potential commitment, Dietel stated “Location is definitely a big thing because being close to my family is really important to me. I am from a small town so that type of feel would be great as well.”
Some other factors that Dietel is considering include, “…the history of the school and the skill of previous players that have been there.”
What the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff, Minnesota Football See In Dietel On Field Wisconsin offensive line coach AJ Blazek works with J.P. Benzschawel during the team’s 10th spring practice, which was held on a practice field north of Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday April 20, 2024.
For the Wisconsin football staff and Minnesota as well, Dietel is a big offensive tackle with surprising speed and agility for his size. The offensive tackle believes what sets himself apart on the field is his “powerful” play alongside his “great understanding” of football.
The offensive tackle has a near perfect assessment of his own game as his stands tall despite massive bull rushes and reads incoming rushers perfectly. For a quarterback, having Dietel on the field is a weapon because of his vision and ability to stop the plays he saw coming. Dietel has the size to compete at the collegiate level, but likely will try to improve his power and increase his weight before reaching the next level.
