The Wisconsin basketball staff has kept a close eye on one of the rising prospects within the state of Wisconsin as of late.
Edward Bullock, a combo guard from Nicolet, has been making a name for himself as of late with his performances and intangibles. Bullock has been preparing himself for this upcoming season where he hopes to seriously make some noise in regards to his recruiting. During a recent interview with Wisconsin Sports Heroics, the 2027 guard broke down what he feels he still needs to improve on the court to be successful.

While the Wisconsin basketball staff has searched through the state to find potential recruits for the future, one such recruit has been playing lights-out. Nicolet combo guard and dynamic scorer Edward Bullock has had quite the summer so far on the AAU circuits and plans to carry his success over to the next high school season.
Bullock has yet to be contacted by the Wisconsin basketball staff and other programs, but has already had plenty of coaches view his film. Bullock is a tall guard with the size to shoot over defenders from the perimeter and the strength to score inside against a big-man.

For the Wisconsin basketball hopeful and rising in-state star, the best is still yet to come but the base is certainly there. When asked about what allows him to succeed on the court, Bullock stated, “Well I believe I’m a leader and I can score on all three levels while defending the same way.” Bullock also went on to state, “And if I’m having an off game I rebound better than most bigs.”
One thing Bullock did not mention is also his ability to take over a game with his hot shooting. The guard recently played up in 16U and dropped 30-points in his first outing with the team, showcasing his ability to consistently make shots. If Bullock is left open, he has both the accuracy and confidence shooting from anywhere on the court to nail the shot.

What Bullock has that will allow him to become a successful collegiate player is both his range and knowledge of the game. When the guard is having an off night shooting, he crashes the boards or dishes the ball out for easy looks. Bullock understands the game on a different level and understands how to bring value to his team even when he cannot score for them.
For Bullock, time is going to be key in his collegiate recruitment as the guard simply needs more opportunity to play against top-level competition. Bullock is a raw prospect with all the tools to become successful at the next level, but simply put just needs more time on the court. With another full season under the belt of Bullock as well as this summer season, the guard can certainly take his game to the next level.
