Per 247Sports, Shadow Creek High School (Texas) safety Kyle Peterson will announce his college commitment on Thursday, July 11.
Peterson is a three-star prospect in the class of 2025 with a listed height of 6’0″ and 185 pounds.

In two varsity seasons at Shadow Creek, Peterson has totaled 50 tackles with four interceptions, a fumble recovery, and seven pass breakups.
Washington State currently has three other safeties in the 2025 class. With a player rating of 86, Peterson would be tied for the highest-rated player in WSU’s group.
Peterson took an official visit to WSU the weekend of June 20. Louisiana was his only other reported official visit, which he took the weekend of June 6. His other scholarship offers include Arizona State, Kansas, Hawaii, Dartmouth, North Texas, Texas State, Tulsa, UTSA, UTEP and Eastern Illinois.
