The Wisconsin football staff has nearly filled out their 2025 recruiting class pretty early on, but the “closer” is still available.
Byron Louis, a four-star running back from Florida, has received major collegiate attention, including attention from the Wisconsin football staff. The Badgers believe Louis could be a very successful back in Madison, especially behind their newly recruited offensive line in the 2025 class. However, Louis may not be the “closer” for Wisconsin as another school is creeping into the lead.

After landing the exceptional four-star lineman Hardy Watts, the Wisconsin football staff has continue to dig for more commitments in the 2025 recruiting class. One such commitment could come from running back Byron Louis, whom the Badgers held an official visit for last month.
Louis, a four-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class, is a high-choice recruit for the Wisconsin football staff currently. Wisconsin loves what they have seen from Louis and believe that the running back could become a game-changing player for them in the future.
Can the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Lure Louis Aware From Florida State?

For Wisconsin, it could be a difficult task to have swayed Louis away from the Florida State Seminoles. Currently, Florida State holds a crystal ball prediction to land Louis after he took his final official visit with them. However it is worth noting that Louis also previously held a crystal ball prediction to Miami (FL) directly after his visit, but it was later removed.
The confidence behind where Louis will land is not great for any team at this point as he has kept much of his recruitment in the dark. The real question ahead of the commitment announcement is whether or not Louis wants to stay close to home. It seems likely Louis will choose between Florida State and Miami as the fourth school that was previously in the mix was Georgia, which is a two-hour flight as opposed to a five-hour flight to Madison.
If Not Louis, Who Will the Wisconsin Staff Choose to Close the 2025 Class? 
Wisconsin Badgers head coach Luke Fickell will be looking for a new wide receivers coach as Mike Brown announced he’s leaving to join the staff at Notre Dame.
In the case that Louis does not land with Wisconsin, the staff has already prepared a second possible option for their next commitment. Three-star wide receiver Muizz Tounkara took an official visit last month and drew plenty of interest from Wisconsin. The Badgers already have two other commitments at the position in their 2025 class, but none quite like Tounkara.
The physical receiver is down to Wisconsin, Arizona, and Kansas with his commitment coming on July 13th. Currently, Tounkara holds one medium confidence crystal ball prediction to land with the Badgers, which would work as a possible “closer”.
