The Supreme Court ruled Monday in a 6-3 split along ideological lines that Donald Trump is immune from prosecution for official acts but that immunity may not shield all his efforts to overturn the 2020 election while president. The court returned his case to a trial judge to decide which acts may be prosecutable.
