LANSING, MI — Michigan regulators are requesting public comment on an air pollution permit application for a proposed copper mine in the Upper Peninsula.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) says it’s taking comment until Nov. 13 on an air permit for the Copperwood Mine in Gogebic County and holding a virtual public hearing on Oct. 20.
