2024 USA TODAY Sports girls flag football Super 25 rankings kicks off in partnership with the NFL.
The USA TODAY girls flag football Super 25 heads into Week 2 with six new teams appearing in the national poll after a thrilling slate matchups across the seven states competing in the fall season.
While No. 1 Mountain View (Mesa, Ariz.) held firm with wins that included a close call against No. 18 Red Mountain (Mesa, Ariz.), other nationally ranked squads fell short and opened the door for a significant shakeup.
The biggest movers of the week came from Illinois, where a new No. 1 in the state moves into the top 10, and two more impressive teams land in the mix after taking out Lakes and Taft, respectively.
Fantastic finishes?
Girls flag football has yet to skip a beat in a year where highlight-reel moments on the high school gridiron have headlined the Super 25 action.
This past week, that spotlight belonged to the Toros’ Kaylei Yazzie.

The process considers factors ranging from last year’s results based on NFHS Network data, carryover into this season, and a main focus on 2024 records.
