Former president’s latest merch drop priced at $100

Former president Donald Trump announced the sale of a $100 limited edition silver coin that has his ‘beautiful face’ on it.

Donald Trump continues to add to his array of merchandise, as the former president recently announced a $100 coin that is set to go on sale Wednesday.

Dubbed “Trump Coins,” the limited-edition silver medallions were designed by Trump and minted in the United States, the 2024 Republican presidential nominee said Saturday in a video message posted to Truth Social.

“Hello everyone I have something incredible to share today, we are announcing the launch of Trump coins,” the 78-year-old says in the 1-minute video message, calling them a “true symbol of American greatness.”

The latest merch drop comes during the home stretch of the 2024 presidential campaign trail, in which Vice President Kamala Harris has largely out-fundraised Trump since she entered the race in place of President Joe Biden.

Trump says coin is the only official one to depict ‘my very beautiful face’

The coins were created to “commemorate our movement, our fight for freedom, prosperity and putting America first,” Trump said in the video message.

“It’s more than just a collector’s item, it’s a testament to the resilience and strength of the American people, our American patriots who we love so much,” he said.

The coin is “composed of 99% pure silver with a beautiful proof finish,” according to the former president. Each coin will also come with a certificate of authenticity containing Trump’s signature, he added.

“I’ve seen a lot of coins out there using my very beautiful face, I’m a very beautiful guy,” Trump said. “But they are not the official coin.”

‘God Bless the USA Bible’ and other Trump collectibles

During Trump’s campaign, he has rolled out a handful of different collectibles for his supporters, including Bibles, “Make American Great Again” (MAGA) hats, exclusive sneakers and NFT trading cards.

Trump announced the sale of the $59.99 “God Bless the USA Bible” in March via a video message posted on Truth Social. The books are in partnership with country musician Lee Greenwood and came out around the time of Good Friday and Easter.

“All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It’s my favorite book,” Trump said in the video posted on Truth Social. “I’m proud to endorse and encourage you to get this Bible. We must make America pray again.”

While the “God Bless the USA Bible” is fairly accessible, Trump’s “Never Surrender” high-top sneakers have become difficult to find for the shoe’s retail price of $399. To purchase the shoe, buyers would have to look on eBay and other online marketplaces. One eBay user listed a pair of Trump’s sneakers for a buy-now price of $9,900.

Trump’s MAGA hats have been popular among his supporters since his initial campaign in 2016. Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner wrote in his memoir that the MAGA hats earned the Republican candidate’s 2016 campaign up to $80,000 per day, the New York Post reported.
