A storm chaser found himself in the centre of an enormous dust devil in Anson, Texas, on Sunday, September 22, when the gigantic funnel passed right over him on US Route 180.
Chad Casey captured this video as he tracked a storm in north Texas. In the video caption, Casey wrote, “Just zero metered a gustnado/dust devil along leading edge of advancing cold front…Watch as it overtakes a farmer on the tractor.”
The video shows the massive dust devil swirling across farmland before crossing the road and engulfing Casey’s vehicle.
