Country star Morgan Wallen just finished a double-header weekend at Neyland Stadium with a star studded lineup.
Wallen’s two-part concert series held a record breaking audience of about 160,000 fans along with some celebrity appearances. During his two shows, he welcomed on stage four guest stars, include some of the biggest names in country music.
Here’s who made an appearance with Wallen on stage in Knoxville.
Eric Church joins Morgan Wallen to sing ‘Quittin’ Time’
On Sept. 20, night one of his two-night concert series at Neyland Stadium, country music star Eric Church joined Wallen on stage. The two performed the song “Quittin’ Time,” a song co-written by Church from Wallen’s sophomore record, “Dangerous: The Double Album.”
The country music singer and songwriter from Granite Falls, North Carolina, has been producing music since 2006. Church’s highest charting songs are “Springsteen” and “Drink in My Hand” which both went No. 1 on the Billboard country songs chart.
Ernest and Morgan Wallen sing ‘Flower Shops’
Wallen also brought out Ernest, one of the openers at Wallen’s Neyland Stadium, to perform their collaboration “Flower Shops” on night one of the series. Ernest, a country singer and songwriter from Nashville, has been performing since 2017. His highest charting song is “Cowgirls,” a Morgan Wallen track on which he is featured on.
HARDY, who has also collaborated with Wallen, also opened at both Neyland Stadium shows. The singer-songwriter’s highest charting album is “The Mockingbird & the Crow” which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in 2023.
Morgan Wallen and Miranda Lambert sing ‘Thought You Should Know’
Two days later on Sept. 22, Wallen brought out country music star Miranda Lambert to perform with him. Lambert joined Wallen to perform the song “Thought You Should Know,” which the two co-wrote together.
Lambert first came to fame in 2003 when she finished third in the show “Nashville Star.” Since then, Lambert has become one of the biggest names in country music. She has been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards.
Darius Rucker joins Morgan Wallen to perform ‘Wagon Wheel’
Also on Sunday, Wallen was joined by Darius Rucker. The two performed his hit “Wagon Wheel” with help from Wallen and Neyland Stadium’s crowd.
The song, a cover of the Old Crow Medicine Show’s song written by Bob Dylan and Ketch Secor, became one of Rucker’s top hits, reaching No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart in 2013.
Peyton Manning, Tennessee coaches Tony Vitello, Josh Heupel walk Morgan Wallen out on stage
On night one, Wallen was escorted to the stage by the national champions Tennessee baseball team and coach Tony Vitello while holding their recently earned NCAA trophy.
Two nights later, Wallen was escorted to the stage by Tennessee football legend Peyton Manning, dressed in a full Volunteers football uniform. Wallen was also joined by Tennessee football head coach Josh Heupel and players Nico Iamaleava and Bru McCoy.
Songs Morgan Wallen performed just for Knoxville’s shows
There were seven songs performed over the weekend that were not played at any other show on Wallen’s tour. These songs include:
