Hot off wearing a plaid Dior ensemble at the 2024 VMAs, Swift stepped out for dinner with gal pal Gigi Hadid this weekend in a pleated look from New York-based designer Ramy Brook.

Swift was spotted out in Ramy Brook’s “Derrick” skirt, which is available online for $365. The wool blend skirt is offered in a “saddle plaid” colorway and comes with a built-in vegan leather belt. The mini skirt hits just above the knee without being too thigh-baring, and the flannel-like material keeps things warm and cozy, which is great if you want to wear the look during fall.
Swifties can get the look by pairing the Ramy Brook dress with a cropped sweater and heels (like the singer did) or play off the Western trend with a cowboy hat and boots. The “Derrick” skirt is available in sizes 00 to 14; the brand says the style runs large, so they recommend sizing down.
Swift has worn plaid skirts on numerous occasions, almost always with boots and a sweater. The Instagram account “Taylor Swift Styled” calls the singer’s latest look an “easy, seasonal uniform,” adding that “the combo of colors and prints here are also typical of Taylor.”
The Instagram account is run by blogger Sarah Chapelle, who has been documenting Swift’s fashion looks for almost a decade. The account is so popular in fact, that Chapelle recently landed a book deal.

Officially titled “Taylor Swift Style: Fashion Through the Eras,” the blogger’s new book is a hardcover compendium that chronicles Swift’s fashion journey over the years. Chapelle writes about how the star’s style has evolved with her music, with more than 200 accompanying photos.
The author also notes the many “Easter eggs” that Swift often adds to her looks, as a wink to fans or as a response to news and rumors.
