Last week, Willis was basically tasked with being a game manager against the Indianapolis Colts. This week, Willis produced a winning performance against his former team, completing 13 out of 19 passes for 201 yards with one passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown. Willis made some confident throws and showed off his mobility, leading the team in rushing and posting a new career-high of 73 yards on six attempts. It was clear early on that LaFleur was more comfortable opening up the playbook, which was a testament to his trust in his quarterback and Willis’ preparedness. Love appears to be on track to return next week, but the backup deserves a ton of credit for helping Green Bay to two wins in his absence.
