No. 7/8-ranked Missouri football will open its SEC campaign against Vanderbilt on Saturday in Columbia, with kickoff scheduled for 3:15 p.m. on Faurot Field.
Mizzou has the chance to head into its first idle week of the season 4-0, after wins against Murray State, Buffalo and then-No. 24 Boston College to open the season.
Vanderbilt, coached by Clark Lea and quarterbacked by Diego Pavia, is 2-1 after defeating Virginia Tech and Alcorn State before a road loss at Georgia State last Saturday.
The Tigers don’t have another game on Faurot Field until an Oct. 19 matchup against Auburn. Missouri athletics has announced that there is expected to be a sellout crowd at Memorial Stadium.
