The Buckeyes are coming off a 56-0 Week 2 win against Western Michigan and will host Marshall Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
Ohio State last took on Marshall on Sept. 2, 2010, winning 45-7.

Consider this a third straight tuneup before Big Ten play starts next week.”
Ohio State 48, Marshall 0: Joey Kaufman of The Columbus Dispatch says, “The storyline to watch is whether the Buckeyes can shut out a second straight opponent, a feat they last accomplished in 2009 when they held Toledo and Illinois scoreless in consecutive weeks. It’s a real possibility considering the state of Marshall’s offense, which ranks toward the bottom of the Football Bowl Subdivision by most advanced metrics. They are 94th in expected points added (EPA) per play.”
