Eight of the top 10 teams in the Tennessee high school football rankings enter Week 5 of the 2024 TSSAA season without a loss.
And it may be a while before that changes.
Baylor headlines this week’s rankings as the state’s unanimous top-ranked team. The Red Raiders host Christian Brothers on Friday.
The top game of the state is likely a resurgent No. 11 Brentwood Academy (3-1) and Tennessee football commit George MacIntyre traveling to No. 2 McCallie (3-1) for their Division II-AAA East Region opener.
A group of high school sports writers from the USA TODAY Sports Network vote during the season on the top 25 programs in Tennessee. First-place votes are in parentheses. Each first-place vote receives 25 points; each second-place vote receives 24 points, on down to No. 25, which receives one point.
