Ohio State Football: A look at the 2014 National Championship season
In 2014, Ohio State made history by winning the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship. Led by head coach Urban Meyer, the Buckeyes finished 14-1.
Fourth-year Marshall football coach Charles Huff on Tuesday seemed to acknowledge his Thundering Herd team will be at a disadvantage when it takes on Ryan Day and No. 3 Ohio State on Saturday.
But, as Huff noted on Tuesday during a news conference, Marshall has something it can offer Buckeyes players who could be enticed to transfer to the Thundering Herd Marshall for the right price (never mind designated NCAA transfer windows): an NIL deal involving all-you-can-eat Tudor’s Biscuits.

As noted on X (formerly Twitter) by Brett McMurphy:
“So if any of those guys that run really, really fast at Ohio State like Tudor’s Biscuits, I promise you: All you can eat, all day — if you transfer here.”
An enticing option, no doubt. Tudor’s Biscuit World, a restaurant chain and franchise based in Huntington, West Virginia — where Marshall is located — serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and an impressive array of biscuits, including the aptly named “Thundering Herd.”
As noted by the school in May 2023, Huntington is also home to one of the original Tudor’s locations:

On the off chance no Ohio State player takes Huff up on his offer, he and Marshall will enter Saturday’s game as 39.5-point underdogs, per BetMGM.
Still, no harm in trying out a new twist on the age-old adage: “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.”
And, in this case, eat ’em.
